Zuellig Pharma Philippines is the historical starting point for Zuellig Pharma Asia Pacific. At the turn of the 20th century, Dr. Frederick Edward Zuellig emigrated from Switzerland to the Philippines and joined a local trading company. Shortly after, he founded F.E. Zuellig Inc., the predecessor of Zuellig Pharma. Today, Zuellig Pharma Asia Pacific is the premier pharmaceutical distribution business in the region, having grown from its base in the Philippines into one of the largest multinational pharmaceutical distribution companies in Asia.

Zuellig Pharma Philippines covers all trade channels in the country, including traditional pharmaceutical outlets such as drugstores and hospitals, as well as selected modern trade outlets, thereby providing total market coverage. Our operations are supported by the latest technology and our distribution network is ISO certified.
We are the only pharmaceutical distributor in the Philippines that offers an integrated network of regional distribution centers throughout Metro Manila, Provincial Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. Supplied from a national distribution center, this network provides fast, responsive service to customers in a geographically challenging market, reducing the risks associated with dependence on a single distribution center for supply.
Each of our warehouses has sufficient cold chain capability to provide security and integrity of product quality throughout the distribution network. No other distributor in the country provides this level of integration in cold chain capability. Our cold chain infrastructure includes back-up chiller capacity as well as back-up power generators to ensure seamless operations in the event of power interruptions.
More than 500 Zuellig Pharma salespeople solicit orders daily. Sales forces are tailored to match principal needs, allowing for both exclusive sales forces as well as multi-line sales force configurations. Dedicated key account teams, for large drugstore chains, hospitals and the government complement all sales forces. All multi-line sales forces are equipped with handheld PDA units and our POES (Pocket Order Entry System) software. Deployment of the PDA units empowers salespeople with customer information and improves sales call planning and execution, productivity tracking and order-to-delivery lead-time.
Principals are provided with detailed information in a number of forms, including access to zip-online®, Zuellig Pharmaˇ¦s powerful internet-based sales and inventory information system. Our distribution operations are supported by integrated application systems supporting order and returns processing, billing, collection, payment application, and inventory management. Our national distribution center operates a state-of-the-art paperless warehouse management system, extensively utilizing radio frequency technology, enabling efficient inventory tracking (by batch and lot), picking, and dispatching.
