Zuellig Pharma Korea is the leading provider of cutting-edge logistics services in warehousing, distribution and customer order management in South Korea. We provide a state-of-the-art warehousing facility that utilizes an all-in-one temperature-controlled system and a sophisticated racking and shelving system. These operate in accordance with the most stringent quality management standards and are ISO 9001:2000 certified.

South Korea is one of Zuellig Pharma's youngest markets. With a population of 46 million, South Korea has a market worth about US$5.5 billion, which makes it the 12th largest market in the world and the second largest market in Asia after Japan.

Zuellig Pharma initially entered the Korean market in 1997 as a logistics services provider for pharmaceutical companies under the name Korea Logistics Services (KLS). In April 2000, the scope of services was expanded to include order taking for prescription products, promotion and detailing of OTC products, invoicing and accounts receivable. At the same time, the company name was changed to Zuellig Pharma Korea.

Zuellig Pharma Korea services a growing number of multinational principals and has an annual logistics throughput of approximately US$1 billion. About 60% of this is invoiced by Zuellig Pharma Korea, while logistics services account for the remaining 40%. Products are distributed through all channels and to all levels of the distribution chain. Our sales forces directly cover pharmacies, pharmacy wholesalers, hospital wholesalers and clinics.

Overall, we distribute to around 7,000 accounts. Wholesalers are serviced directly from our state-of-the-art distribution center located in Osan, about 50 kilometers south of Seoul. Pharmacies are serviced on a same-day delivery (SDD) basis through our satellite distribution centers located throughout Korea.
