Zuellig Pharma has been an integral part of the Hong Kong business community for more than three decades. Originally known as "Maysun", the company was founded in the early 1960s as a division of a large local trading company. In 1967, management broke away to form "Mason", which then joined the Zuellig Pharma group in 1985. By this time, Zuellig Pharma had grown to become the largest distributor of healthcare products in Southeast Asia. In 1993, Mason changed its official name to Zuellig Pharma Ltd Hong Kong. In October 2003, Zuellig Pharma Hong Kong acquired the pharmaceutical division of DCH Healthcare Products Ltd, the fourth largest pharmaceutical distributor in Hong Kong. This acquisition consolidated our leading position.
Zuellig Pharma Hong Kong offers superior services to both principals and customers. We cover over 6,000 accounts including hospitals, doctors, clinics, laboratories, dispensaries, drugstores and chain stores and have the largest and most experienced trade sales force in the Hong Kong healthcare market. Our strong relationships and wide-ranging networks in the trade market provide extensive market access and coverage for principalsˇ¦ products while our state-of-the-art logistics operations offer dependable service for customers.
In addition to serving the pharmaceutical market in Hong Kong, Zuellig Pharma Ltd also manages healthcare product distribution in nearby Macau.
